Albany's Veterans Day Parade

The Largest Veterans Day Parade West of the Mississippi!

The 62nd Annual Albany Veterans Day Parade will begin its march through the streets of Historic Downtown Albany on Monday, November 11, 2013 beginning at 11:00am.



Veteran’s – Defending Our Freedom This year’s theme salutes the dedication and sacrifices our men and women in uniform have endured in order to secure for us the freedoms we hold dear.






Leading off the parade will be our 2013 Grand Marshal, Jim Willis, Retired Director of the Oregon Department of Veterans Affairs. We salute Jim for his tireless work on behalf of all veterans.






The Veterans Day National Committee has again designated Albany, Oregon as a Regional Site for the observance of Veterans Day 2013. Albany is one of 52 such sites in the nation given this honor in 2013.






Veteran of the Year Banquet is an evening where friends reconnect and honors bestowed on those whom we can’t thank enough for their service to their communities and our country. Join with us at American Legion Post 10 in Albany beginning at 7:00pm. Dinner / Program Tickets available.






Join with us for the annual Veterans Day Memorial Service beginning at 8:30am at Timber Linn Park, Linn County Veterans Memorial, Albany, Oregon.







Join with us in saying Thank You to all our Veterans! Our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines have given their time and often their lives to protect our freedoms. We set aside a day each year to honor them all. Please join with us this year to offer your own, Thank You for your Service and Welcome Home!
